Product Description
Carbon flat steel is a flat shaped steel made of carbon steel material, with a thickness generally less than 25mm and a width between 12-300mm. Compared with traditional round steel and square steel, the flat shape of carbon flat steel is more convenient for processing and use, and can be cut, drilled, and bent to the desired shape. Therefore, it is widely used in many structural projects.
The technical standards for carbon flat steel are as follows:
Carbon structural steel standard: GB700-88.
Standard for high-quality carbon structural steel: GB/T699-1999.
Low alloy high-strength structural steel standard: GB/T1591-94.
There are two main forming methods for flat steel: hot rolling and cold drawing. The maximum width of hot rolling is 150mm and the maximum thickness is 60mm.
