Product Description
SAE1008 galvanized strip steel is a kind of high-quality carbon structural steel, with low carbon content, generally below 0.10%, and good weldability, which can meet the requirements of welding process. In addition, its low carbon content also means that its hardness is low and it is easy to process and shape.
The manganese content of SAE1008 galvanized steel strip is generally between 0.30% and 0.60%, which is relatively low, and mainly plays the role of refining grain and improving plasticity.
At the same time, the silicon content in SAE1008 galvanized steel strip is generally between 0.03% and 0.08%. Silicon is a common alloy element to improve the strength and wear resistance of steel, and its content is relatively low. It is mainly used as deoxidizer to effectively remove oxides in steel and improve the purity of steel.
