Product Description
202 stainless steel strip is a type of nickel saving stainless steel, which is artificially made to alleviate the shortage of nickel resources. The 202 stainless steel strip belongs to the 200 series stainless steel, with a nickel content of 4-6% and a Mn content of 7.5-10%. Compared with high nickel stainless steel, 202 stainless steel strip has lower corrosion resistance. In addition, the 202 stainless steel strip can form an austenitic structure by replacing some Ni elements with Mn-N-Ni elements, which helps alleviate the problem of nickel resource scarcity.
Due to the high phase transition temperature of austenitic stainless steel (requiring heating to above 1000 ℃), 202 stainless steel strip can be used as heat-resistant steel. At 350 ℃, its metallographic structure will not change, that is, the performance of the steel will not undergo a sharp change.
