Product Description

S355 carbon steel strip is a low alloy high-strength structural steel, whose chemical composition is mainly composed of elements such as carbon (C), silicon (Si), manganese (Mn), phosphorus (P), sulfur (S), etc. According to the European standard EN 10025, the specific chemical composition of S355 should meet the following requirements:

C content: 0.16%~0.22%

Si content: ≤ 0.60%

Mn content: 1.60%~2.00%

P content: ≤ 0.025%

S content: ≤ 0.025%

S355 carbon steel strip is widely used in various applications that require heavy loads and impacts, such as bridges, ships, construction, mechanical manufacturing, and transportation. Due to its excellent mechanical and corrosion resistance properties, S355 carbon steel strip is also used in the manufacturing of pressure vessels, marine engineering structures, and nuclear energy facilities.
